Central Illinois host two cannabis events Saturday
The Illinois cannabis industry continues to grow with more festivals and events scheduled for Saturday.
Illinoisans have a choice to attend the Delt-A-8 Harvest Festival in Groveland and/or the Gro Up Gardening 10-Year Anniversary Customer Appreciation Day event in Pekin.
Transcendent Record Studios and Simple Livin’ Farms will present the D8 Harvest Festival Saturday, Oct. 2. Gates open at 1 p.m. Simple Livin’ Farms is located at 5631 Broadway Road in Groveland.
The event will be packed with music, vendors, food options and much more.
Around 200 tickets remain, but organizer Dee Mill expects the festival to sell out of tickets. VIP tickets and vendor spots are sold out.
Tickets can be purchased here.
The entire event will be live streamed on almost all social media.
“I’ve been throwing shows and festivals for over twenty years,” Mill said. “The bar and club scene round here has gotten stale. I wanted to put on a festival that was new, fresh, and brings people from all walks of life together through music and cannabis.”
Gro Up Gardening will host a Customer Appreciation Day for its 10-Year Anniversary event Oct. 2.
This event starts at 10 a.m. and is located at 229 Court St. in Pekin.
The Customer Appreciation Day also will host several vendors, food options, raffles, giveaways, and more.
