Star Buds Burbank is located at 7844 S Cicero Ave. in Burbank, Illinois. The retail store officially opened January 7, 2023, and serves recreational users. Hours of operation are 8 a.m.-10 p.m. Monday-Sunday.

Partnered with SB IL Grow LLC, Star Buds became the first licensed predominantly black-owned cannabis business in the Prairie State. In addition to the dispensary, Star Buds is the first in the state to go live with its craft grow facilities and has launched its Kaviar and Blaze brands in Illinois.

“We have our Kaviar brand and Blaze brand,” said Star Buds Operations Manager Mousa Joudeh. “Our Kaviar Brand will be the connoisseur flower, and the Blaze brand will be our Premium top shelf.”

Star Buds also operates Star Buds Riverside, located at 2704 S Harlem Ave. in Riverside, Illinois. Star Buds was founded in 2013 by “a team of family and friends with a desire to share their passion for cannabis with the world,” and since, Star Buds has grown from a mom-and-pop shop to a nationally and internationally recognized brand.
