Drizzledab’s 3rd Annual Dope Float July 30
Drizzledab is scheduled to host the 3rd Annual Dope Float Saturday, July 30. This year’s event will be raising awareness and funds for the National MS Society.
The event runs from 10:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. and will be located at 3016 County Rd 3010 E, Mackinaw, Illinois. Floaters provide their own floats if it’s a tube, kayak, paddleboard, or canoe. All are welcome. If you need to rent a canoe or kayak, contact Area 52 Canoe Rentals.
How it works:
- Starting at 10:30 am Participates park vehicles at Dee-Mack bridge where a shuttle will take floaters up the river to the launch point of Amerman Bridge. The Shuttle will run approximately every 30 minutes until noon.
- You and the party will float approximately 3 hours back to your vehicle. Starting at 3:30 p.m., the shuttle will run every 30 minutes returning floaters and watercraft to their vehicles.
- Drizzledab ask all floaters to join us at Pub 52 located at 702 Smith Street Mackinaw for Live entertainment, food and drink specials, a 50/50 raffle, door prizes, and the grand prize drawing of a kayak at 6 p.m.
The first 100 registered get a T-Shirt and a chance to win a Kayak. Entertainment provided by Original Blues artist Chris Stevens, who plays original and cover songs that range from West Side Chicago gutbucket blues and rocking’ classic songs, Mackinaw River Blues, performed on acoustic guitar.
