The Illinois Department of Public Health reported April medical cannabis sales today.
Retail sales of medical cannabis for April totaled $35,281,250.08, including $16,625,990.77 in dry flower sales and $18,655,259.31 in concentrates/infused-products.
Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 69,257 unique patients, who purchased 1,261,013 grams of dry cannabis.
The April totals were a decrease from March totals.
Retail sales of medical cannabis for March totaled $35,688,321.20, including $16,678,374.50 in dry flower sales and $19,009,946.70 in concentrates/infused-products. Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 69,308 unique patients, who purchased 1,282,958 grams of dry cannabis.
March medical cannabis sales increased from February’s total of $29,579,209.83 to March’s totals of $35,688,321.20. The 2021 March totals were more than $5 millions than the March 2020 totals of $29,976,735.01.
March 2021 retail sales of $35,688,321.20 included $16,678,374.50 in dry flower sales and $19,009,946.70 in concentrates/infused-products.
2021 total retail sales by licensed medical cannabis dispensaries totaled $133,218,704.50.
Total retail sales since November 2015 by licensed medical cannabis dispensaries totaled $1,021,143,347.38.
Total wholesales since November 2015 by Cultivation Centers totaled $1,068,195,353.44.
Before March, Illinois medical cannabis sales had decreased.
February retail sales of medical cannabis totaled $13,993,773.56 in dry flower sales and $15,585,436.27 in concentrates/infused-products, which was the least drop in numbers.
All sales figures reflect voided sales. Prior to 2017, voided sales were not reflected in these figures.
