Illinois March cannabis sales bounce back
Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation announced Illinois’ monthly recreation sales total today. For the first time, Illinois surpassed $100,000,000 in monthly sales totals.
Illinois’ March adult-use cannabis sales bounce back from a slow February in which the state totaled $80,741,641.84 to March totals of $109,149,355.98.
In-state resident sales increased from $57,907,195.55 in February to $75,744,092.53 in March.
Total items sold increased from 1,724,610 in February to 2,317,315 in March.
Out-of-state resident sales increased from $22,834,446.29 in February to $33,405,263.45 in February.
The recreational cannabis sales for 2020 totaled $669,084,410.12.
