Review: Boost CBG Gummy Worms by Enliven
Some companies seem to jump into any category in an attempt to “throw it and see what sticks.” Enliven has taken a more targeted approach, and with every new release from the craft infuser I find myself saying “this just makes sense.” The label has recently released a line of infused gummy worms, so I stopped at Consume Carbondale to pick up all three flavors to review, starting with the CBG-infused Boost gummy worms.
Enliven Boost CBG Gummy Worms come as a 10-pack of gummy worms infused with 10mg of THC and 10mg of CBG per gummy. The ingredients are pure cane sugar, corn syrup, water, beef gelatin, coconut oil, pectin, citric acid, malic acid, distilled THC, natural color, natural flavor, hemp derived CBG isolate, sunflower oil, and sunflower lecithin.
Exactly two inches long with a slight bend at each end evoking a wriggling worm, each gummy had a two-color split and a generous sugar coating. There were five raspberry-fruit punch gummies in an orange/red combo and five strawberry-watermelon gummies in a bright red and green. The chew was soft with a light bounce that seemed very fresh and could have passed for a super-premium gummy even in the non-infused market.
Both flavors were sharp at the top with a citric acid bite before shifting into the classic artificial blasts of fruit that gummy worms are known for. The raspberry-fruit punch combo seemed to lose the identity of the raspberry among the punch, while the strawberry-watermelon kept both notes balanced and reminded me of a similarly flavored Snapple. Both options coated the palate with sweetness, completely masking any cannabis flavors.
The mental shift was noticeable within 20 minutes but reached a peak by the 45-minute mark. Primarily mental, the gummies didn’t lift my energy levels but tamped down my anxieties and created a spacious, clear headspace that provided a flow-like state of focus. The physical effects were limited to an overall sensation of lightness that came and went at the peak, while the mental clarity stuck with me for almost two hours. These Boost CBG Gummy Worms pair a nostalgic candy treat with a real “deep work ready” mental shift.
