Review: Luckleberries #59 by Revolution
I wish I had closer access to Revolution strains. Instead, I usually have to drive more than an hour to a different dispensary to buy Revolution flower. I really enjoyed reviewing the Gorilla’d Cheese, so when NuMed (now NuEra) listed on its menu Luckleberries #59 that clocked in at 30.65% THC, I added it to my cart right away for the Thirty % Plus review series.
Luckleberries #59 is an indica-leaning hybrid cross of Louis XIII and Huckleberry Kush. The large dense buds had light and dark green leaves with rusty pistils that were powdered with trichomes. When I opened the container and sniffed the kushy diesel aroma, I knew I was going to enjoy this strain. Deeper in the aroma popped up citrus and sharp berry notes from the limonene and beta-myrcene terpenes. The caryophyllene, linalool, and pinene terpenes gave a backstop smell of spicy floral and pine.
The flavor was similar to the aroma. The flavor first hit with kush and diesel but that was overwhelmed by pine and sharp floral. The calming head high struck fast and sat heavy in the crown at first. I knew before it hit that these top terpenes and the 0.12% CBD were going to deliver a heavy body buzz.
Luckleberries #59 took me longer than usually to review, because I saved the strains only for late-night muscle pain medication after workout days and to eventually fall asleep. After a few doses, the tranquil head high led to tiredness, and by that time, my muscles were melted into the couch. I really enjoyed the body buzz Luckleberries #59 delivered. The strain also increased for my appetite each time I medicated, and each night afterwards I slept well.
I’m going to keep an eye out and hope my local dispensary carries more Revolution products. If not, the way these reviews have been going, I may have to travel for more Revolution strain options.
