Review: Hell’s OG by Elevate
After reviewing Grease Monkey, I sampled another strain from Elevate Cannabis, Hell’s OG.
Hell’s OG is an indica cross of two classics, OG Kush and Blackberry. This batch tested at 37.77% THCa, 1.57% CBGa, 0.69% THC, and 40.04% total cannabinoids. Primary terpenes included beta-myrcene, beta-caryophyllene, limonene, and alpha-humulene.

The two grams came as two large colas. The dense spade-shaped buds were light green, olive green, and dark green with bright orange pistils. The diverse aroma hit with a mix of sweet citrus, tart candy, berries, herbs, spice, diesel, and earthy hops. The flavor carried even more sweet and tart candy, berries, citrus, and added a creaminess that mixed well with the herbal spice and gas.
Hell’s OG provided heavy-hitting effects. The head high, which swung back and forth from a clear mind to wandering thoughts, delivered a heavy-crown sensation and helped me block out some unnecessary worries. The body buzz came on as body tingles that turned to waves of muscle and joint relaxation. The heaviness of the buzz built upon itself until the entire body felt as if under a weighted blanket. During the second half of the buzz and with multiple doses, the body buzz dragged down the head high into heavier sedation. Overall, I dosed with Hell’s OG late in the evening and at night when I wanted a landing pad for bed. The strain also caused a severe case of the munchies right when I became tired enough to fall asleep.
