A few weeks ago, I appeared on Episode 8 of the Cannabis Man Podcast with host Don Kleppin, and the experience spawned a new collaboration. On the latest episode of the podcast (out today), Kleppin debuted a new segment (2:22) tentatively called “News Joint Wrap” in which Kleppin compiled cannabis industry news highlights (taken from Illinois News Joint) into a weekly wrap-up.

News Joint Wrap is “the joint you can hit for all your Illinois cannabis news and reviews.”

During Episode 13 with Michael Ejbeh, this week’s News Joint Wrap summarized Illinois news included recreational cannabis sales totals and upcoming events.

Kleppin, who is currently a news anchor for WGN Radio 720 AM and Midwest Traffic reporter for iHeart Media, officially launched the Cannabis Man Podcast April 20, 2022. His ultimate goal is to grow the show’s numbers so that he can reach more people in Illinois and across the globe and share with them the information and perspectives of his interview subjects.
