Cannabis and comedy are merging for a new experience in Illinois. CannaLaugh comedy series, Blazed and Amused, is scheduled to host an immersive comedy show for the “cannabis-positive crowd, combining elevated humor, culture, and hemp-focused engagement.” The inaugural event is set for Saturday, Aug. 16, at the CineCity Studios in Chicago.
The Blazed and Amused event features five nationally recognized comedians performing live stand-up, infused mocktails, interactive brand activations, and a culinary lineup. Performing comedians include, Ray Grady, Dawn B, Baldhead Phillips, Jadi, and headliner Slink Johnson. The door opens at 5 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. Attendees must be 21 years or over with ID.
General admission and VIP tickets can be purchased here. All attendees receive a goodie bag, pizza or barbecue, and lemonade. Balcony VIP tickets include private mocktail tender and a private chef. The event also features a live DJ, vendors, and chill zones. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to partake in a glass blowing education in which they can blow their own glass.
