Cannifest Chicago was recently postponed until April 9-10, but Cannifest is still scheduled to host its “Grow Awards” on January 29.

The Grow Awards will be a virtual event in which the $10,000 Grow Award for best flower winner will be announced.

Cannifest plans to announce more details about the virtual event soon.

Cannifest Chicago, originally set for the last weekend of January, recently announced via email and social media that “After weighing the feedback of the Midwest community and circumstances beyond our control, we have manifested a new date for Cannifest Chicago . . . We anticipate our event to have an even larger impact in April.”

The Ravenswood Event Center, at 4021 North Ravenswood Avenue, will still host Cannafest Chicago. All sales will carry over to the April event.​

Cannafest Chicago will run from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets can be purchased here.

Cannafest Chicago is a celebration of community and cannabis and will host different vendors, exhibitors, breeders, seed banks, artists, nonprofit organizations, and more as part of its Seed Swap Circus, Community Choice Awards, Live Art and Music, Grow and Ganja Games, and Grow & Squish ceremony.
