CROO launches new website
The Cannabis Regulation Oversight Office (CROO) today announced the launch of its new website. The new CROO website has been designed to be more user friendly and a better comprehensive resource for recreational and medical cannabis in Illinois.
CROO is a part of the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and responsible for coordinating with numerous state agencies to direct the regulation and taxation of Illinois’ cannabis industry. The new website includes dropdown menus for information about CROO Media, Research and Data, Legal and Enforcement, About, and Agencies.
The Media information includes Press Releases, Newsletters, Reports and Public Presentations, and Upcoming Dates. The Research and Data menu includes information about Diversity Survey, Sales Figures, Industry Demographics, and Learn How Cannabis Tax Dollars are Spent.
The Legal and Enforcement menu include information about Laws and Regulations, Disparity Study Procurements, and Expungement. The About page offers links for information on FAQs, Working Groups, Contact Us, Meet the Cannabis Team, and Dispensary Locations.
The final menu displays links to Agencies that are involved with legal recreational and medical cannabis in Illinois, including CROO (Cannabis Regulation Oversight Officer), IDPH (Illinois Department of Public Health), ISP (Illinois State Police), IDCEO (Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity), IDHS (Illinois Department of Human Services), ICJIA (Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority), IDOR (Illinois Department of Revenue), IDOA (Illinois Department of Agriculture), and IDFPR (Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation).
