We are proud to be a small collaborative part of the Hemp Hops Shrooms festival set for this Saturday and would like to invite everyone to attend the free event and stop by our booth for conversation, questions, and free swag. The event, located at Washington Street Entertainment Block in Carbondale, is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 23.

The 2^nd annual Hemp Hops Shrooms festival runs from 3-10 p.m. and offers a unique combination of education and entertainment with presentations, vendors, food trucks, artists, live music, and more. The Hemp Hops Shrooms festival coincides with Carbondale’s 5-part Off the Rails concert series. Off the Rails is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. with DJ Vortex and DJ Radiator.

At 8:30 p.m., Rosalba Valdez will take the stage. Music and vending ends at 10 p.m. Food options will include Shawnee Cake House, Dale’s Burger Shack, Honey Beez Snowball, Sidney & Solomon Foods, and more. The SIUC Cannabis Science Center and Fermentation Science Institute are set to give educational presentations from 3-7 p.m. Vendors will be there from 3-10 p.m. The event will host more than 50 vendors related to hemp, hops, and/or mushrooms.

The Hemp Hops Shrooms festival is a collaborative effort between the Southern Illinois University Cannabis Science Center, SIU Fermentation Science Institute, and Carbondale Main Street.
