Homegrown Review: ATF by John Grow #10
Our next Medical Patient Homegrown Review comes from John Grow #10. John Grow #10 recently harvested ATF, better known as Alaskan Thunder Fuck (and also know as Matanusha Tundra), from Holi Moli Seeds.
ATF is a mostly sativa-leaning hybrid and is believed to be a Nor Cal sativa crossed with a Russian Ruderalis strain that then was backcrossed with the Nor Cal Sativa. That plant was then crossed with an Afghani strain (Nor Cal Sativa x Russian Ruderalis) x Nor Cal Sativa] x Afghani).

ATF’s aroma hit with a citrus, fruit, and musk with back notes of pine and dark chocolate mint. The flavor similarly hit with musky citrus and mint chocolate with back notes that often turned sweet and lemony.
The effects fit perfect into our “Work Sativa” review series with strong energetic, euphoric, and creative cerebral effects with a relaxing body buzz. ATF delivered a focused head high with an uplifted mood and overall better mental state. The effects built slowly but were potent and long lasting.

The body buzz crept in even later in the buzz and surpassed most sativa body effects with a heavy muscle relaxer that did not bog down the body from moving.
This harvest took 62 days to flower. The weight of his cured flower totaled 356.7 grams for two plants.

“I started growing first to save money,” he said. “And also because I do believe homegrown is better. Growing at home I have found is as much a therapy for the mind as well as body. And I enjoy being able to grow the medicine that is best for you on your own terms.”
