Homegrown Review: Viking Milk by John Grow #35
It’s been since mid-February, but we’re back with another Medical Patient Homegrown Review. This one comes from a registered patient new to this educational series, John Grow #35. John Grow #35 tells us about his latest harvest of Viking Milk, bred by Elev8.
Viking Milk is a hybrid cross of Dutch Crunch and Cereal Milk, and this batch, grown from a feminized seed, takes nine full weeks to flower. The aroma during the flower stage offers a super-heavy gassy banana.
The thick buds display colors from light green to dark purple and everything in-between. The aroma leads with that distinct terpenolene smell from its Jack Herer lineage, followed by a diverse blend of citrus, gas, cream, fruit, sweet berry, and dough. The flavor matches but with more emphasis on the sweet cream, berries, gas, and mixed fruits on the front and orange-lemon-lime citrus as back notes.
The head-high effects land early with an energetic boost and mental euphoria. As the buzz settles in, heaviness sets in the crown of the head, and though still uplifting, the mental buzz relaxes. With heavy doses, the head high becomes a bit hazy. Throughout both iterations, the mental buzz stays functional. The body buzz also comes on quickly, starting in the neck and shoulders. Eventually, the muscle-relaxing buzz envelopes the full body, and with heavier doses, reaches a heavy-blanket sensation. By the end, the buzz also induced a stronger appetite.
