Ieso, named after the Greek goddess of recuperation from illness, was founded near the inception of Illinois’ Medical Cannabis Pilot Program and is located in Carbondale.
Along with a new logo and a website update still in progress, Ieso has been breeding strains for its new catalogue.
For nearly a year, Ieso cultivators have been phenotype hunting several strains that are now finally on the Illinois market, including Pineapple Chunk, Jellien, Peyote Cookies, Slurrimintz, and Ice Cream Cake.
Ieso cultivators currently are also working on release dates for several more strains.
The new strains will be sold under the re-launched Cultivate brand. For its new flower, Ieso also has transitioned from plastic containers to glass jars, which maintains a better product and allows customers to see the product through the glass before purchasing.

Cultivate also encompasses IESO’s vape brand.
In addition, Ieso launched two pre-roll brand names. Single pre-roll packs are called Selfies, and packs of four pre-rolls are called Groupies.

Along with the Canna-Sours Gummies I reviewed, IESO edible brand includes Sweet Life by Hannah.

For its Alchemy brand of concentrates, Ieso has transitioned to square calyx jars.
The Ieso website also has added new sections for a Cannabis Q & A, videos photos, and a blog.
