Illinois April cannabis sales sets new record
Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation announced Illinois’ monthly recreation sales total today. For the second month in a row, Illinois surpassed one hundred million dollars in monthly sales totals to set a new record.
With the 420 Holiday, new dispensaries opening, and better weather, Illinois’ April adult-use cannabis sales increased to $114,961,668.22 from March’s total of $109,149,355.98.
In-state resident sales increased from $75,744,092.53 in March to $79,909,284.92 in April.
Total items sold increased from 2,317,315 in March to 2,463,056 in April.
Out-of-state resident sales increased from $33,405,263.45 in March to $35,052,383.30 in April.
