The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) today released its February 2025 medical cannabis sales totals. Retail sales of medical cannabis for February slumped to $19,748,199.87, which was the lowest total since June 2019. This followed January 2025 totals of $21,459,882.77, which was the lowest total since July 2019.

February 2025 medical cannabis sales included $9,625,137.04 in dry flower sales and $10,123,062.80 in concentrates/infused products. Licensed medical cannabis dispensaries served 54,883 unique patients, who purchased 1,151,194 grams of dry cannabis. Total retail sales since November 2015 by licensed medical cannabis dispensaries reached $2,289,831,974.06. Total wholesale sales by cultivation centers in 2025 hit $53,377,743.10, and total wholesale sales since November 2015 by cultivation centers finished at $4,116,822,275.07.
