Oregonix Farms to open Craft Grow in Huntley
Many Illinoisans have been waiting for licensed craft growers to start cultivating products, and now, nearly two years later, it’s happening. One of those new craft growers is Oregonix Farms in Huntley. Oregonix Farms is scheduled to host its grand opening Friday, July 14.
The event is set to begin at 10:30 a.m. Guests will be able to tour the brand’s new craft grow facility. With the opening, Oregonix Farms will launch its mission “to build strong relationships with meaningful partners to produce superior, small-batch cannabis products.”
Oregonix Farms’ goal is to consistently grow products that make a positive impact on its customers’ lives, as well as customers around the world. Oregonix Farms combines 35 years of cultivation experience and specializes in using the most advanced technologies. “Our new (cutting-edge) facility has been compared to a Ferrari,” Oregonix Farms CEO David Schwimmer said. “And that reflects the time, effort, and quality that has gone into building it.”
“We run a small tight-knit crew of cultivators that all share the same level of passion and love for great cannabis,” said Oregonix Farms Director of Cultivation Andrew Wise. “By taking legacy skills and combining them with state-of-the-art technology we are able to produce an amazing product on a very consistent level.”
Oregonix Farms states that it is 100% committed to producing the most robust plants with the best genetics.
“Our cultivation team is constantly pheno hunting new genetics to ensure we will always have something new that no one else in the state has” Wise enthuses. “We take the utmost care in drying, curing, and trimming of flowers. At Oregonix Farms we take a low and slow dry approach and will always hand-trim A-bud flowers. By doing this we ensure a strong terpene presentation in our flower and also maintain trichome structure.”
