Review: 8 Inch Bagel Live Rosin by Aerīz
It’s exciting to see the list of licensed rosin producers in Illinois grow. Not only do consumers deserve the high quality solventless experience that rosin can provide, we deserve more overall choices. Aerīz is one of the companies adding a wash and press lab to its cultivation center, and we have yet to review one of the offerings, until now. I spotted Aerīz’s 8 Inch Bagel Live Rosin at Trinity Compassionate Care and picked up a sample to add to our reviews.
8 Inch Bagel is a hybrid cross of GMO and Project 4516. This batch of live rosin tested at 22.32% Delta-9-THC, 56.76% THCa, 0.2% CBDa, and 81.86% total cannabinoids. The indicated terpenes were limonene at 1.88%, β-caryophyllene at 0.94%, β-myrcene at 0.58%, and α-bisabolol at 0.39%

I was surprised by the wet yellow amber sheen evenly coating the bottom of the jar. It seems this product has been through a “heat curing” process creating a jam-like “badder” consistency. Viscous and sticky with tiny crystals, overall this presented similar to raw honey.
The aroma from the jar was a pungent blend of orange, lemon, diesel, raspberry, chemical cleaner, celery seed, onion, and garlic. Vaporization unlocked the vegetal flavors of celery seed and garlic, bringing them to the front of the palate. The exhale brought out the raspberry and tangy chem flavor.
8 Inch Bagel was highly versatile, enhancing whatever mood I was in. If I was ready to get to work, 8 inch Bagel cleared my head and calmed me enough to focus on the task at hand. If I was looking to treat my insomnia, 8 Inch Bagel was strong enough to lull me to sleep. The physical side of the experience set into my face with a heavy pressure at my forehead and cheekbones that slowly melted into the rest of my body.
Overall, I was impressed with the density of flavor and the versatile experience 8 Inch Bagel provided, and it left me excited to try more solventless options from Aerīz. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
