Review: Afternoon Delight Disposable Vape by Good News
While most of the attention goes to flower and concentrates, there’s no doubt that consumers love vape pens. In fact, vapes outsold the closest category (edibles) by more than 2 to 1. I smoke what the people smoke, so I recently picked up a Good News Afternoon Delight Disposable Vape to review.
The Good News Afternoon Delight 300mg Disposable Vape is filled with a blend of cannabis distillate and botanically derived terpenes. This vape tested at 78.11% THC and 78.11% total cannabinoids.
The branded straight-sided cylinder was no bigger than a standard Bic writer. A small oil visibility window was on both sides with a small indicator light at the bottom. There were no settings, buttons, or ports and a hit to activate mechanism.
Even with the light cloud from the disposable stick, the flavor was very sweet, carrying a vaguely tropical-fruit kick that tasted like a blend of fresh-cut mango and Fruit Stripe gum. Surprisingly sticky, the flavor had more staying power than any other vape I’ve tried recently, leaving a hint of sweet that I could detect for more than five minutes.
The Afternoon Delight Vape worked quickly, tamping down my baseline anxiety and inducing a peaceful headspace after a couple hits. The body buzz was light at lower doses, but after a few more long pulls, a fluttering, tingling sensation began to move outward from my chest. It was easy to hit the “ceiling” of the buzz after five or so pulls, making the disposable a good fit for emergency anxiety uses.
