Review: Alpine Strawberry Vape by Fernway
New vape brands are hitting shelves faster than I can review them. Massachusetts-based Fernway recently expanded into Illinois, so I picked up a few options from the brand’s lineup to review, starting with Alpine Strawberry.
Fernway Alpine Strawberry Vape is a 2-gram distillate vape infused with botanical terpenes. This vape tested at 0.25% CBD, 5.06% “other cannabinoids”, 86.82% THC, and 92.1% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 5% of the total weight.

Fernway’s Traveler hardware stood three-and-a-half-inches tall, one inch wide, and a half inch thick in a dark black soft-touch plastic. There was a large pass-through visibility window shaped like an inverted triangle just below the mouthpiece and above the singular Fernway-branded button. A simple LED screen at the bottom displayed the battery and power level. There were three power options, a 6-second preheat, and a five-press on/off. Despite the simple plastic construction, the large screen and size made the Fernway hardware feel more premium than many options on the market.
Consistent at all three power levels, the flavor was subtle but sweet with a natural strawberry-jam note. Light on the palate and in the air, the vapor had essentially no “stickiness” and disappeared immediately from the palate.
Alpine Strawberry had an easy-going come up that gently lifted my mood and expanded my awareness window over roughly fifteen minutes post-sesh. Calm but motivated, the buzz was best fit for the daytime. The mental pick-me-up was accompanied by a slow-burn muscle relaxation that tamped down by heaviest pain points without distracting me.
