Review: Banoreoz by Ozone
Last month, Ascend Wellness Holdings announced a full brand and quality relaunch of its flagship lifestyle brand, Ozone. The relaunch introduces full-spectrum gummies, macro-dose gummies, new flower strains, and new liquid diamonds and live resin vapes. I picked up from Ascend (Horizon Drive) Springfield a batch of Ozone’s Banoreoz to review.
Banoreoz is a cross of Oreoz and Dual OG, bred by Honey Sticks Genetics. This batch tested at 0.36% THC, 33.95% THCa, and 30.14% total THC. Primary terpenes included limonene, β-Caryophyllene, and linalool.

This eighth came as three huge colas. The light green colas were bulbous with slight foxtailing to them and covered in milky trichomes. The aroma from the pouch hit with a mix of sweet herbs, creamy bananas, pine, sour berries, diesel, and kush. The flavor matched the aroma with stronger notes of sweet fruit, kushy baked goods, sour gas, creamy pine, and overripe bananas. A consistent note of earthiness underlined each hit. The back end of the exhale often hit with a strong sour berry and Sweet Tarts flavors.
The Banoreoz effects landed in the hybrid middle. The head high started with a clearheaded, mood boosting mental state that reduced stressful thoughts. The boost leveled out into a mental-chill mode. Late in the buzz, and with several doses, the thought process wandered. The body buzz started in the arms and legs and eventually took over the torso with a sinking sensation. Not motivated but not couchlocked either, the buzz fit both day and night sessions. On the back end, the effects added a little sedation and a boost of appetite.
