Review: Berriez Live Budder by Aerīz
By @Medsforheads
The Runtz hype train is still chugging along steadily, and arguably with good reason. After all, the cross of Zkittles and Gelato is a guaranteed hit among fans of the “candy gas” flavor profile, not to mention rappers and other celebrities. This leaves one to wonder why Aerīz markets its cut of this cross as Berriez; that is, until you try it.
I snagged a gram of Berriez Live Budder from Rise Mundelein, making sure to keep the box level throughout my journey home as I expected a high terpene content may cause the resin to shift around easily. This step was well advised.

Greeting me in the glass dish was a thin dollop of goldenrod jam laden with minor THCa facets like tobiko sitting in soy sauce. The supple extract was tempting to play with, whipping up to a slushy budder for just a moment before spreading back out on its own.
Testing at 83% total cannabinoids (75% THCa), the Berriez live budder captured a representative snapshot of the flower’s unique terpene profile, which contains a-humulene, b-myrcene, guaiol, linalool, and trans-caryophyllene.
The guaiol and linalool were strongly pronounced in the budder’s sharp, fruity, and floral aroma redolent of mixed berry fruit snacks. With a mere eight weeks having passed between the production date and my first dab, the dewy freshness of the resin was palpable on both the nose and palate.

A light spritz of lingonberry, some sweet pine and aerated citral gas came through in the comcentrate’s flavor, backed by a rustic breath of cedar chips. After exhaling a dab, an aftertaste of Original Bomb Pops tingled my taste buds.
Deviating from my typically passive experience with Runtz relatives, Berriez had me cleaning up my apartment, writing music for the first time in ages, and dancing while doing the dishes. Despite almost erratic flips of focus, my mind was bare of intrusive thoughts and geared for diverse and effective multitasking.
Concurrent with this rush of kinetic and creative energy was a percussive resonance by my temples and a feeling of jovial yet indifferent inebriation. Additionally, the Berriez budder consistently suppressed my appetite, suggesting a presence of THCV that would also contribute to the strain’s stimulating effects.
Overall, I recommend this product for getting things done without feeling robotic, aerobic exercise, and inhibition of munchies. Medicinal users would be likely to find relief of depression, pain, and fatigue.
