Edibles are essential for treating my chronic pain, and I prefer switching up formulas and flavors. My latest edible samples included a couple containers of Berry Burst Sweet Indica Gummies by Encore.

The Berry Burst Sweet Indica Gummies came as a 10 pack with 10mg of THC per gummy. The light purple gummies brightened in the light to a pinkish-orange color. With a heavy coating of sugar, the six-sided gummy was just under an inch at the widest point and a third-of-an-inch thick. The Berry Burst carried a stiff gumdrop texture through and through, without any bounce back in the hand or on the chew.

The Berry Burst Sweet Indica Gummies filled the container with an artificial blueberry and blackberry sweetness on the front end and a berry sweet and sour on the back end. The flavor delivered the same blackberry and blueberry burst on the front end and a tart berry on the back end that mixed well with the sugar coating to keep from reaching peak tartness.

Though labelled indica, the effects landed in the middle with a functionable head high and a heavy body buzz. At low doses, the head high levelled off my temperament and boosted my mood, and at high doses, the head high became a little sedative but not until late into the buzz. The body buzz pulsed in waves, from the body’s core to its extremities. Toward the end of the buzz, the body and mind slowed to a comfortable relaxation, which led to a good night’s sleep.

The ingredients were sugar, water, pectin, sodium bicarbonate, medium-chain triglycerides, natural flavors, caryophyllene, limonene, b-myrcene, pinene, linalool, sodium citrate, high fructose corn syrup, glycerin, FD&C Red 40, C Red 3, modified food starch, C Blue 1, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate, carrageenan gum, xanthan gum, and cannabis oil.
