Review: Birthday Cake Bites by Bubby’s Baked
I eat a lot of edibles. A lot. And it’s nice to finally have more options on the menus to select from than just gummies and chocolates. For a nice change of pace, I recently picked up a Bubby’s Baked Birthday Cake Bites to review.
The Birthday Cake Bites came as five mini-cupcakes inside a brown liner inside a tube. Each vanilla cupcake with the nostalgic blue, pink, orange, and green birthday colors mixed into the vanilla cake contained 20mg of full-spectrum cannabis.

The cake bites delivered a strong, sweet-vanilla and sugar candy aroma. The texture was soft and moist, as if it had been baked yesterday and left in a container. The flavor matched the classic birthday cake flavor with vanilla cake with an extra kick of sugar grit from the blue, pink, orange, and green “birthday” spots that helped mask the slight cannabis taste.
The effects hit fast with strong head high that started upbeat and clearheaded, but as the buzz continued, thoughts became more relaxed and murkier. The body buzz kicked in later with a heavy sinking feeling that started in the extremities and worked its way toward the body core. The hybrid effect kept me leveled out throughout the buzz, not to up or down. At the tail end of the buzz, I became more mentally and physically sedated, which prepped me for a solid night of sleep.
