Review: Blood Orange Gummies by Ozone
Now that Illinois is nearly three years into its legal market, cultivators are seemingly launching new products every month. As mentioned over and over, new products are our favorites to review, so when I noticed Ozone had launched Blood Orange Gummies last week, I picked up the new product from Ascend Springfield on Horizon Drive.
Ozone’s new Blood Orange Gummies are a new Ozone formulation made with pectin. The gummies are vegan, gluten free, naturally flavored, and non-GMO. The Blood Orange Gummies came in a hockey puck shaped tin.

Ten Blood Orange Gummies came inside the tin. Each orange sugar-cube shaped gummy contained 10mg of THC. The sugar-covered gummies delivered an aroma that matched its namesake taste.
The blood orange smell and flavor reminded me of a sweeter version of the orange slices my father used to buy from Rural King. The flavor hit with sweet orange with added sweetness from the sugar grains. While chewing the flavor also delivered notes of apple and more citrus.

The effect followed the expected dose for 10mg, and for me, added a bit of energy to the front end of a relatively clear-headed cerebral buzz. The very end of the buzz finally provided a mental and physical sedation that led me to a goodnight’s sleep each time.
The overall body buzz kept adding to the muscles and body relaxation the deeper into the buzz. The heaviest part of the body buzz seemed to hit at the end. At lower doses, this allowed me to get mental and physical work done for the first couple hours of the buzz and then relax and chill for the last couple hours.
