While I cherish the classic preroll experience, I must admit I’ve been using an increasing amount of smaller format preroll packs lately. Curaleaf imprint Anthem released a new line of “Bold” infused preroll packs that caught my attention. I stopped at Curaleaf Morris and picked up a Blue Raspberry Kush Infused Preroll Pack to review.

The Anthem Blue Raspberry Kush Infused Preroll Pack comes as a 5-pack of 0.35g prerolls infused with botanical terpenes and distillate. This pack of prerolls tested at 0.182% CBDa, 1.044% Delta 9 THC, 57.087% THCa, and 59.207% total cannabinoids.

Each shorty preroll was just under three inches long, including the half-inch wooden tip. The body of the joint was a thick forest-green paper with a loose tuck closing each end. Inside, the flower was bright green and finely ground. The small size and hot-burning distillate infusion made for even, issue-free burns from the entire pack.

Opening the flip top pack released a blast of sweet, artificial blue raspberry. The sweet candy note dominated the dry pulls as well. The flavor was slightly more dimensional once lit, with additional tones of gas, dried herbs, and hints of coffee appearing on the finish, but it was the sweet candy tone that stuck to the palate after the joint was gone.

Like most distillate-infused prerolls, these hit hard up front, delivering a strong head and body load before the end of the shorty joint. After the initial heady shift and body pressure subsided, a cool calm took over my headspace. The physical high was short-lived, disappearing after the initial peak.
