Review: Blueberry Cupcake by Crops
By TammiTokes
I love anything with Blueberries in it: coffee, desserts, bagels, muffins, yogurt—you get the idea. So when I saw Blueberry Cupcake by the Justice Cannabis Co. brand, Crops, on the menu at Windy City Cannabis in Posen, I just had to get it.
Blueberry Cupcake is a 50/50 hybrid cross of Blueberry Muffin and Wedding Cake with THC at 0.54% and THCa at 27.59%. The primary four terpenes included β-caryophyllene, linalool, β-myrcene and limonene. Blueberry strains are always fun and tasty for me, and I like to smoke them at night or when I just want to zone out.
As soon as I cracked open the rather large jar that Crops uses for its packaging, the strong aroma of blueberries and pine hit my nose, as if to remind me of its name. Inside the large jar were two small and one large Kermit-the-Frog green nugs covered with frosty trichomes and bright orange hairs peeping through, all neatly trimmed.
Once ground, sweet cream, pine, and hints of grass lingered in the air, and the same happens once lit. On first inhale there was Blueberry scone sweetness, along with a hint of pine. The exhale was just as smooth with notes of sweet cream, pine, and grass. The head high was straight away and lasted a while, allowing me to do light chores and then the Wedding Cake in this strain told me to, “Sit down and binge watch whateva cause you doing the most” and that’s what I did.
Once I let the linalool and myrcene take over, my muscles began to relax, and I began to doze off into a weed slumber. Blueberry Cupcake is perfect for sleep, anxiety, relaxing after a long day and an appetite stimulant. This is something I would buy again. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
