After trying Illinois craft grow licensee Wyvern Botanicals’ premium flower brand Ripperz, I decided to try Wyvern’s everyday flower brand, Triple Crown. I picked up from Hatch Addison an eighth of MTF and an eighth of Boston Tea Party to review.

Boston Tea Party is a sativa-leaning cross of Georgia Pie and Project 4516. This batch tested at 31.12% THCa, 0.81% CBGa, 27.71% Total THC, and 32.36% total cannabinoids. Primary terpenes included β-myrcene, α-pinene, β-caryophyllene, and limonene, with 2.75% total terpenes.

This eighth came as three huge light green and dark green buds covered in milky trichomes. The aroma delivered creamy gas with back notes of sweet pine, citrus, minty cocoa, and kush. The flavor kept the sweet creaminess and blended it with notes of citrus, gas, pine, and chocolate , especially on the front end. The back end added stronger kush, pepper, and mint.

The effects fit our Work Sativa series with a strong cerebral head high and relaxing body buzz. The head high started slow then rushes in with a clearheaded, blissful, and motivating buzz. The head high levels off into a relaxed but high-functioning chill mode. The body buzz started with a floating sensation that warmed my body and eased muscle and joint aches. Boston Tea Party by Triple Crown was mostly suited for morning, day, and afternoon use while socializing, working, gaming, or just hanging out.
