Review: Bruntz by PC Nursery
Pharmacann is so focused on its new brands that it has created a label just for developing flower for the rest of them. PC Nursery was created so that consumers could provide direct feedback on new releases before they find a permanent brand home by allowing customers to rate the flower experience via QR code. I recently picked up a few new drops from the test label at Verilife Romeoville starting with Bruntz.
Bruntz is a hybrid cross of Biscotti, Runtz, and Z. This batch of flower tested at 0.61% Delta 9 THC and 21.06% THCa. Terpenes were 1.65% of the total weight with limonene, β-caryophyllene, and linalool being the heaviest.

Four just-larger-than popcorn buds, plus a tiny extra piece, carried varying shades of olive green, bright turf, and dark-royal purples across a loosely trimmed surface. Large sugar-leaf pieces provided cover for clumps of bright-orange hairs and a robust dotting of milky trichomes. The flowers were loosely structured and easy to break down by hand, leaving some hash-style greasiness on my fingers after handling.
A spice-heavy blend of clove, allspice, black pepper, cheese, and creamy dough created a slightly sweet but rich scent inside the jar. Grinding with a nice fluffiness, the loose structure was helped by a well-targeted dry with just the right amount of moisture and spongy bounceback. The flavor leaned into the slight sweetness of the aroma with notes of creamy dough, coriander, allspice, and a cheesy finishing tone. Despite the rich and varied expressions on the nose and palate, the flavor had very little stickiness and was gone from the tongue with exhale.
Bruntz induced a talkative and sociable mood that led me to run on in conversation a few times. My train of thought flowed easily, and a smile stuck to my face, reflecting the positive headspace. The physical aspect of Bruntz was much lighter with a tilt towards inflammation and pain relief more than heavy sensations. Notably, my old back injury was completely pain free for more than three hours, a real treat. Overall, Bruntz provided a less focused but very positive sativa experience paired with a spicy and unique flavor profile.
