Review: Bubble Tang Live Badder by Bedford Grow
Great cannabis companies are built on great genetic portfolios. Bedford Grow has a seemingly endless library of current and past lines that helps define its organization, and I’m always delighted to see the new releases when they drop. This Bubble Tang was new to me, and I was excited to give it a try when I saw it on the Springfield Maribis menu.
Bubble Tang is a slightly indica leaning hybrid cross of Indiana Bubblegum and Tang Tang. This batch of live badder tested at 76.09% THCa, 3.1% D9-THC, and 80.55% total cannabinoids. The most abundant terpenes were b-myrcene, limonene, and b-caryophyllene with 9.99% total terpenes.

This gram badder came as a mound of bright sunflower yellow badder with a visible layer of terpenes giving the top a sheen. The badder was soft, pliable, and very easy to work with.
The aroma from the jar was tangy to the point of being sour. I found notes of lemon, lime, grapefruit, mango, and kiwi alongside a more vegetal component consisting of cucumber, dill, and sage. The flavor upon vaporization leaned towards the vegetal component leading with sage and dill while the lemon, mango, and kiwi made appearances on the exhale, keeping the tang in Bubble Tang.

The effect profile of this badder left me playful and relaxed without becoming sedating. My mind space was open, creative, and surprisingly social for a strain I still considered to be “indica”.
The body profile was closer to my expectations as it built from a light head buzz and heavy eyes to a full blown full-body warm-blanket feeling. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, click here.
