Review: Butterstuff Infused Prerolls by Ozone
As a staple sample at cannabis events for more than a year, Ozone has been ahead of the recent explosion of infused preroll options with its Reserve Live Resin infused two-packs. I recently stopped into Mystic Greenz Decatur and spotted the Ozone Butterstuff Infused Preroll Pack on the menu.
Butterstuff is an indica-leaning hybrid cross of Peanut Butter Breath and Velvet Glove. This pack of infused prerolls tested at 3.061% THC,19.291% THCa, and 23.15% total cannabinoids.

Two individual plastic tubes carried a stubby preroll with a deep forest-green flower section contrasting against the Futurola branded crutch. Visually there was no indication of the live resin infusion. Tightly rolled, both joints benefitted from some prework, loosening things up and allowing for a smoother pull. Thanks to the prework and short size, canoeing was a nonissue, and both prerolls burned smoothly.
A deep inhale and dry pull provided a creamy front-end note of caramel, followed closely by a lighter hitting herbal blend of oregano and black tea notes. The live resin didn’t contribute to the flavor until roughly halfway through the burn, cutting through the cream and herbal notes from the aroma with a sharp hit of fresh pine and a considerably heavier oil ring at the cherry. The live resin pine note was quite sticky, clinging to the palate much longer than the flowers flavor.
Despite the short burn time, the Butterstuff joints set in, before being ashed out, with a noticeable boost after the live resin was burning. A strong headband/heavy eyelid sensation was the first indicator with a consistent pressure moving down from my crown. My energy levels remained the same, but a cloud of haziness dropped over my awareness, reducing my focus and quieting my head. Even with the sharper experiential peak from the live resin, the joint was long lasting for the size, with the full-effect window sticking with me for almost two hours.
