Review: Chem OG Prerolls by matter.
By @medsforheads
Ganja is not always glamorous, nor does it need to be. For every meticulous user who needs a jeweler’s loupe, Interpening wheel and Grateful Dead vinyls to complete their experience, five are simply trying to get through the day. Life is demanding, and there isn’t always the luxury of adequate time or headspace to savor an engrossing cannabis experience. In these instances, a reliable preroll can be a utilitarian hero.
I got from Verilife Chicago the Chem OG two-pack of half-gram prerolls by matter. Historically a fan of Chems and OGs, I couldn’t see myself going wrong. Two identical cones slid out of the efficiently sized tube, each wrapped in a thin paper free of kinks, rips or punctures. Inside the tube, some crumbs of flower had fallen to the bottom but not enough to miss.
A hit of one of the Chem OG joints sent outdoorsy notes of cinnamon bark, pinecones and dewy grass through the corrugated filter. After a light, all that remained flavor-wise was burnt toast. Each point-fiver burned for just under five minutes with steady toking, handy when waiting for imminently approaching transport.
Chem OG is a hybrid cross of Chemdawg and OG Kush. Testing right around 16% THC, one of these prerolls constituted a light snack for my endocannabinoid system. Not particularly impactful but just enough to stave off my next serving when out and about.
More mental lubricant than singlehanded state-changer, the Chem OG joints were pleasant to puff absent-mindedly to simply kill time between activities. Medicinal users may appreciate Chem OG’s potency while frequent preroll patrons will be happy with the even and fairly effortless burn.
Though rather unspecified in effect, this mini pack provided a pressure-free experience that I didn’t feel the need to stack up against anything else for comparison. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
