Review: Cherry Sour by Bedford Grow
Bedford Grow has often touted the company’s origins as a medical-cannabis-focused brand. The label has continued this trend, offering products many companies simply won’t, such as the new line of CBD heavy Cherry Wu crosses. I recently stopped at Maribis on Denver and picked up a gram of the 3:2 Cherry Sour to review.
Cherry Sour is a sativa-leaning hybrid cross of Amnesia Coast and Cherry Wu. This batch of flower tested at 0.64% THC, 10.05% THCa, and 16.63% CBDa.

Two small conical-popcorn buds, closely trimmed, carried a uniform lime green base coloring. Thin rust-colored hairs crisscrossed the surface, while a clear trichome layer glittered when held to light. The buds were light in the hand but surprisingly dense, leaving a sticky tackiness on my fingers after handling.
Inside the jar was an herbal aromatic blend of fresh leafy green, parsley, celery seed, and cooking mushrooms. The aroma carried over on to the palate with almost perfect clarity. The vegetal and herbal mix of leafy greens and parsley led, with the earthy flavor of cooking mushrooms at the finish. The opening notes were very light, but the mushroom note clung to the palate, remaining detectable for more than five minutes after exhale.
The effects unfolded slowly over the next half hour. A warming body buzz slowly wiped away all my muscle pains without any pressure or euphoria, simply pain free. Mentally, a clarity overtook my headspace, cutting down intrusive thinking and allowing me to focus on the task at hand. As the peak came and went, a sense of peace and calm replaced the sharp upfront clarity and stuck with me for more than an hour.
