Review: Coffee Creamer Infused Shake by NGW
A trend in cannabis over the past couple years has been the rise of the infused category as cultivators plus up prerolls, flower, and shake to please heavier consumers. Nature’s Grace and Wellness is no stranger to infusion with the brand’s long-standing line of Moon Walker infused blunts. The label is expanding that line with the addition of Galactic Ganja infused shake. I stopped at Trinity on University and picked up an eighth of Coffee Creamer Infused Shake to review.
Coffee Cream is an indica-leaning hybrid cross of (Zkittlez and Kush Mints #11) and Kush Mints. This batch of infused shake tested at 14.6% THC, 23.61% THCa, and 39.36% total cannabinoids.
The forest-green shake carried small highlight pieces of bright orange, lilac purple, and deep black. The shake was finely ground but short of being powdery with recognizable leaf and orange hair pieces mixed in. When pinched in the jar, the shake clumped up with a stickiness that made it easy to pack a bowl without mess.
Notes of warm-sweet dough and cocoa led the aroma, followed by an herbal blend of dried thyme, cucumber, and parsley. The sweet dough and cocoa completely disappeared on the palate, and a dense cedarwood flavor joined the parsley and thyme to create a heavy wood and herb blend. The flavor was very sticky with a heavy lingering cedar taste evoking a cigar humidor.
The body buzz unfolded first as waves of tingles moved outward from the base of my spine. The mental shift followed closely as a daze that left me spaced out and locked in my head initially. Eventually, the tingling subsided leaving a sensation of overall lightness and muscle relaxation behind. The daze persisted, and I found that heavy doses of the Coffee Creamer infused shake could really derail my focus and motivation for a couple hours. Overall, Nature’s Grace and Wellness delivered on the promise of a heavier hitting shake while preserving some of the source strain character.
