Review: Super Silver Haze & The Mothership Dablicators by Bedford Grow
It’s rare that I get the privilege of reviewing a new form factor for the Illinois market. Bedford Grow is entering the world of active oils that can be dabbed, smoked, filled into a cart, or eaten with their new “Dablicator” line of strains. I was beyond thrilled to try both Super Silver Haze and The Mothership in this new shape.
Dablicators are a national level cannabis tech that works similarly to an insulin pen. A visible top chamber holds the oil and twists to reveal a lined, dosing plunger that releases a thin stream of oil from the pen-like metal tip. They feel solid in the hand and, after a small learning curve, are extremely easy to use.

I loved the versatility of the oil and the pen itself worked great for cold start dabs, twaxing a joint and adding a dose to snacks, all three of which I enjoyed. The oil was just sticky enough to remain a solid string when coming from the Dablicator, making for simple application straight into the rig for cold starts or on a tool for classic hits.
Super Silver Haze is a classic sativa strain hailing from a cross of Skunk, Northern Lights, and Haze. This batch of live resin oil tested at 79.76 % THCA and 85.8% total cannabinoids with notable percentages of THCV, CBG, and CBC. The most prevalent terpenes were terpinolene, b-caryophyllene, and a-bisabolol.

The flavor profile was complex and was best expressed at low temperatures, so low that I preferred to “cold start” this oil. Orange, fresh pine, the telltale medicinal tang of terpinolene, and a complex of floral notes ranging from lavender to chamomile to honeysuckle were all available
The effects painted an almost perfect picture of a bright and uplifting sativa. I was focused and almost completely free of anxiety. The energy boost was similar to that of an espresso without any of the “jittery” side effects. I was motivated to take on my day, and I added the Super Silver Haze to my daily routine for as long as the gram lasted. This one was an eye opener, specifically this activated oil form, and I’ll be searching for products high in CBC and CBG from now on.

The Mothership is an indica leaning hybrid cross of Alien Rock Candy and Chem De La Chem.
The flavor profile was deep and complex, combining several competing flavors to create a better final product. There was notable citrus and fresh pine, but underneath I detected fresh basil, mint, cardamom, and thick kush tones that provided some real territory to explore.
The effects landed squarely in the indica camp with a heavy body buzz and classic “headband” physical sensation settling in quickly after dosing. My appetite skyrocketed and after some questionable nutrition choices, I wanted nothing more than to curl up on the couch.
The Mothership was profoundly relaxing and a solid nightcap that helped to keep me sleeping soundly.
Overall, these Dablicators are a solid addition to the market and a versatile option for consumers looking to expand their cannabis experiences. I’m excited to see where Bedford Grow takes these.
