Review: Elderflower Vape Cart by Fernway
With the list of vape companies expanding in Illinois, consumers have more options than ever before, including more interesting and novelty flavors. Fernway recently launched a line of vapes, incorporating an Elderflower flavor that caught my eye. I recently picked up one to review.
The Fernway Elderflower Vape Cart is a 1g distillate-based oil infused with botanically derived terpenes. This vape cart tested at 0.21% CBD, 88.88% THC, and 94.1% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 5% of the total weight.

Presenting the standard size and shape we’ve come to expect from a 1g 510-threaded cart, the Fernway vape had a black metal mouthpiece, a glass tank, and a purple ring at the bottom with white text denoting the Elderflower flavor. The oil inside was honey amber with a dense and viscous flow even after heating. Fernway included a stick-style battery with three power settings, a preheat mode, and a USB-C port for charging. It also included a small black writing-pen-style cap that covered the vape when not in use for a truly discreet look.
Bright and lively, the flavor had two distinct stages. At the top end, a natural and tart lime flesh woke up my taste buds. This was quickly followed by a wave of floral tones that blended lilac, lavender, rose water, and magnolia into a profile that can only be described as “old lady perfume,” which I mean in the best way possible.
The Elderflower vape was listed as a hybrid and went to work shifting my headspace within five minutes of a hit. My awareness was heightened as my running thoughts quieted, and a sense of calm took hold. The body buzz hit as a wave of tightening brow and core pressure that peaked with noticeable relief for my chronic muscle pain. Direct and effective without distracting me, the Fernway Elderflower cart was a good fit for anytime of day.
