Review: For A Good Morning, Afternoon, and Night Disposable Vapes by Edie Parker
While most cannabis labels have taken a shotgun approach to branding, attempting to serve as many segments of the market under one vision as possible, some labels are having success by honing in on a specific slice of cannabis consumption. Flower by Edie Parker was born out of the Edie Parker fashion brand, and the label is built from the ground up with the female consumer in mind. Interested in the choices Edie Parker has made to set the label apart, I recently stopped into Ascend Horizon Drive and picked up three disposable vapes: For A Good Morning, For A Good Afternoon, and For A Good Night.
All three vapes are mixed distillate blended with botanical terpenes. The For A Good Morning Vape was Tropical Mango flavored and tested at 0.22% CBD, 77.32% THC, and 81.5% total cannabinoids. The For A Good Afternoon Vape was Lemon Watermelon flavored and tested at 0.24% CBD, 80.2% THC, and 84.52% total cannabinoids. The For A Good Night Vape was Lavender Vanilla flavored and tested at 0.28% CBD, 84.34% THC, and 88.99% total cannabinoids.

All three vapes came as a small cylinder, a few inches tall and a half-inch across with a rounded top where the mouthpiece was located, a small window underneath where the oil level could be tracked, and a USB charge port and light at the bottom. The vapes each carried their own unique color combination making it easy to tell them apart. There were no buttons on the vapes, and a hit to activate mechanism.
The flavor of the For A Good Morning was very bright and sweet with flavors of papaya, mango, and sweet artificial lime, combining to create a candied tropical-fruit flavor. The bright-and-clean flavor was crisp, creating a big impact on the palate but disappeared quickly. The For A Good Afternoon Vape was just as sweet forward but without the same tropical edge. Artificial watermelon and sugary-lemonade flavors blended to create a summery blend that had the same crisp effect of a big punch-y flavor without a long-lasting aftertaste. The For A Good Night was set apart, as the flavor carried a richness the others didn’t. Floral lavender added a sweet highlight but the focus of the flavor profile was an undertone of creamy vanilla. The creamy richness of the For A Good Night vape hung in the air and stuck to the palate, creating a flavor with some real staying power.
All the vapes were fast acting, and it only took a couple puffs before noticeable effects set in. The For A Good Morning stopped my out of control train of thoughts and gave me a moment of clarity. My energy levels remained constant, but I did find the instant clarity helped me focus on the task at hand. Physically euphoric tracing tingles moved outward from my core, and I found some relief at my joints, especially in the morning when inflammation was higher. For A Good Afternoon was an energy booster, hitting my body with a big wave of euphoric rush and unleashing a talkative and outgoing mood for a short time.
For A Good Night again was set truly apart, and the targeted blend not only induced a heavy-body blanket of indica-style full-body pressure and a cloudy headspace that worked well for getting me ready to sleep, something regular readers will know is not an easy feat. Like most distillate products, the peak of each of the experiences came on quickly and disappeared within 45 minutes, especially so for the For A Good Night vape, achieving desired effects was about working within that effect window.
