Review: Forbidden Razittles by Kaviar
While I’m a big fan of the “shop by genetics” approach for cannabis, flying blind also can treat you to some special surprises now and then. I hadn’t heard of Kaviar’s Forbidden Razittlez when I first spotted it on the menu at Star Buds Burbank a while ago, so I decided to pick a sample to see what the strain had to offer.
Forbidden Razittles is an indica -leaning hybrid cross of an unknown strain and Zkittlez. This batch of flower tested at 1% THC, 20.01% THCa, and 22.12% total cannabinoids.
Three flowers, each slightly larger than the last, were rounded olive-green buds with purple-sugar-leaf remnants and deep rust-colored hairs highlighting the surface. A squeeze between the fingers revealed a slight bounceback but a dense core with a slight stick at the fingertips where the buds had been.
The top end of the aromatic profile was a fruity blend of lemon, lime, berry, and tangy grape, followed by a blend of cinnamon and cloves working together with a woody cedar tone to create a smooth earth-focused finish. The flower burned smoothly with a flavorful exhale and almost no throat hit. The flavor carried the woody earth tones much more clearly than the fruit notes so that the top end of the flavor profile was a blend of cedar and pine with notes of lemon and berry appearing faintly on the exhale.
Forbidden Razittlez was listed as a sativa but fell into the center of the spectrum as a flexible hybrid. The physical aspect hit before the cerebral with an overall physical lightness and inflammation relief that loosened my joints noticeably. After a 10-minute wait, a positive veil uplifted my mood and my overall awareness, while my focus diminished greatly.
Forbidden Razittlez had almost no “long tail” and after 45 minutes a clear and relaxed headspace replaced the widened awareness from the peak. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
