Review: Frozen Grapes by Cookies
I have been chasing grape-flavor strains these last few months, so when I stopped in at Cookies Bloomington, I picked up an eighth of Frozen Grapes by Cookies.
Frozen Grapes is an indica-dominant hybrid cross of London Pound Cake #75 and The White. This eighth tested at 0.40% THC, 21.53% THCa, and 22.04% total cannabinoids. Primary terpenes included beta-caryophyllene, beta-myrcene, and limonene.

The eighth came as several popcorn-sized dense buds that had a soft bounce back when squeezed. Sticky to the fingers, the buds were dark green and purple and covered in white trichomes. The aroma from the pouch delivered a punch of sour hops and sweet gas on the front end, followed by back notes of earthy grapes, piney menthol, sweet pepper, and creamy dough. The flavor leaned toward the sweet grape, sour berries, kush, and gas, especially on the front end. The flavor also carried an overall sweet dough with notes of sweet menthol, pine, and pepper, especially on the exhale.
The effects landed right in the middle with a clear and functioning head high and a relaxing body buzz. The head high delivered a “chill mode” mentality that calmed earlier stress and tensions, leading to a mellow and carefree mindset. The head high remained cerebral and engaging throughout. The body buzz slowly built a relaxation into my arms and legs, and then into my entire body. The buzz started as a sinking sensation and eventually ended with a heavy-blanket feeling that was slightly sedative. Overall, Frozen Grapes was a chill mental buzz with a robust grape-gas profile.
