I dosed more edibles during the stay-at-home order these last few months than I have in my entire lifetime combined.

Since legalization, I’ve been mixing and matching gummy flavors and ratios of THC and CBD to help find the best combination to better manage my health.

For almost a two two-week span, instead of learning how to play an instrument or learn a new craft during coronavirus lockdown, I medicated on only Encore Edibles.

I chose four different Encore flavors of gummies: Sour Mandarin 1:1, Sour Strawberry/Peach 2:1, Sour Watermelon, and Peach.

Encore Edibles, Verano’s line of handcrafted culinary-designed gummies, are infused with hybrid strain of cannabis and include 10mg of THC per gummy. The 1:1 and 2:1 gummies also contain 10mg of CBD and 20mg of CBD, respectively.

Each black plastic jar contains ten gummies. The gummies are hexagon-shaped and covered with a sugary coating. Each flavor’s color is represented by the color of its fruit, include the Sour Strawberry/Peach 2:1Gummies that are reddish-peach

The gummies are soft and easy to dissolve in the mouth before swallowing. Though I am not a fan of sour candies, the sugar coating levels out any tart aftertaste.

The onset of the high takes me about 30-40 minutes, but I usually fell affects early than most. It can take up to two hours for others.

I recommend one piece for beginners, but as a medical patient with a high tolerance, I am able to mix a Sour Strawberry/Peach 2:1 with two peaches or two Sour Mandarin 1:1 with a Sour Watermelon to find the best match.

The high is consistent with a hybrid high and doesn’t make me tired, but the added CBD with the THC gives me good body buzz I’m looking for the help ease muscle pain.

The buzz lasts almost four hours, depending on the dosage, and I am able to work, cook, and binge watch television series.

During the two week of medicating on only Encore Gummies, I kept a strong appetite, especially later at night.

Finding the right balance of THC was easier than finding the right balance of CBD, but after two weeks, and with Encore Edibles help, I’ve discovered the combinations that work best for my wellbeing.
