Review: Fruity Flintstoned Cereal Bar by Enliven
Enliven took a shortcut to brand recognition by jumping into the severely lacking infused baked-goods market with a cookie line. Now, Enliven is back for more, following up with a new line of infused cereal bars. I recently picked up from Trinity Compassionate Care the Fruity Flintstoned bar to see how it stacked up.
The Fruity Flintstoned Cereal Bar is 100mg total THC. The large candy-bar shaped cereal snack was roughly five-and-half inches long and two inches across. Four scored lines cut across the front of the bar, allowing me to tear off pieces equal to roughly 20mg each. The vibrant colors of the fruit pebbles were held together from by a dense marshmallow glue.

Sweet and classic, the blend of artificial fruit flavors and sugary marshmallow instantly transported me back to my childhood. The marshmallow was enough to help form a solid bar but little enough so that the fruity cereal remained the star of the show. As with all the Enliven products, no cannabis flavor was detectable at all, and this bar could have easily passed for an uninfused product.
The cereal bar set in at a standard pace, taking an hour before unleashing the full effect profile. By then, a wave of calm relaxation helped quell anxiety and dispel worries before they set in, keeping me present in the moment. An overall lightness and potent inflammatory relief in my back and joints lasted for multiple hours, even after the mental effects had subsided. Overall, this has rocketed to the top of my list of favorite edibles on the Illinois regulated market. The combination of nostalgic flavors and a spacious, functional high made these a good fit for me.
The ingredients are gluten free marshmallows (corn syrup, sugar, dextrose, modified com starch, water), gluten free fruity cereal (rice, sugar, com syrup, canola or soybean oil ,salt, natural & artificial flavors), shortening (soybean oil, fully hydrogenated palm oil, palm oil, mono and diglycerides, TBHQ and citric acid (antioxidants), natural and artificial flavor, beta-carotene (pro Vitamin A) added for color, vanilla, and cannabis distillate.
