Review: Garlic Z by Terrabis
The list of flower labels on the Illinois market is expanding at a breakneck pace. Terrabis Dispensary has added its own in-house flower labels, aptly called, Terrabis, so I stopped at Terrabis Grayville and picked up an eighth of the Garlic Z to review.
Garlic Z is an indica-leaning hybrid cross of Garlic Cookies and OZ Kush. This batch of flower tested at 0.51% Delta 9 THC, 35.29% THCa, and 35.4% total cannabinoids

A handful of dense, lime-green colas were dusted in a thick layer of milky trichomes and accented by vibrant orange pistils. A few smaller sugar leaves still clung to the outside. The firm buds were more sticky than spongy when squeezed, leaving a faint, sticky resin on my fingertips.
Garlic Z led with a punch of roasted garlic and bright lime zest on the top, setting it apart from more traditional sweet or skunky profiles. Underneath the strong opener, a woodsy herbal blend of cinnamon, dry parsley, and basil lingered. On the palate, the sharp-citrus notes and herbal blend seemed to hit my taste buds in successive layers, creating a sour start followed by a warm, deep, herbal finish reminiscent of black tea.

Despite its heavy savory aroma, Garlic Z delivered a surprisingly balanced experience. Within ten minutes of smoking a clearheaded lift that sparked creativity and focus took over my headspace. After the peak, a full body calm set in, and the experience turned more physical than mental. Working exceptionally well for my chronic muscle pain in my back, I recommend this one for consumers seeking pain relief.
