Review: Green T by Rythm
I first sampled a strain from Rythm’s Artist Series last March. Rythm has continued to collaborate with musicians to release signature cuts. R&B artist Tinashe is one of the latest to work with the label, selecting the curated strain Green T. I recently stopped at Hatch Wheeling and picked up an eighth of Rythm Green T to review.
Green T is a hybrid of unknown origin. This batch of flower tested at 1.1% THC, 25.2% THCa, and 26.3% total cannabinoids. One large thin cola was joined by a few smaller popcorn-sized pieces. The flowers were dark with an olive-drab base tone further darkened by an ambering trichome layer and the remnants of forest-green and black-sugar leaves. The flowers had a spongy bounce back when squeezed, but the interior left a sticky tackiness on my fingers after breakdown.

The aroma inside the jar was both sweet and sharp, supplying notes of dry hops, fresh mustard, violet, tea leaves, fresh carrot, musk, and hints of diesel at the top with undertones of roasted peanuts and toasting grain rounding out the profile. In the smoke, the sweet carrot and violet tones came to the front of the palate, while the warmer tones of roasting nuts and grains was joined by hints of pine and cedar. Despite the warm and roasty finish, Green T left with a crisp and clean finish.
Right down the center of the sativa/indica spectrum, Green T calmed my train of thought without changing my energy levels. Peaceful but positive, I remained talkative and sociable throughout the experience. A mental haze slowly built, clouding my perception but never taking me out of the moment. The physical sensations were consistently tingling and euphoric from start to finish.
