Review: Hashburger by Belushi’s Farm
While tons of cannabis labels attempt to evoke a sense of nostalgia, few really hit the target. The Blues Brothers Greatest Hits label by Belushi’s Farm takes a shortcut to nostalgia by using the instantly recognizable faces of The Blues Brothers themselves. This also sets a high bar for the product inside. After all, they were “on a mission from God.” I finally got the chance to pick up an eighth of Belushi’s Farm Hashburger from Mystic Greenz Decatur to see if it lives up to the name.
Hashgburger is an indica-leaning hybrid cross of Han Solo Hash Plant and Double Burger. This batch of flower tested at 0.12% CBDa, 1.19% CBGa, 33.33% THCa, and 34.64% total cannabinoids.

Four medium popcorn flowers had been lightly trimmed, carrying deep purple sugar leaf remnants on top of a bright lime green base tone. The trichome frost was bright and just transitioning from clear to milky, sparkling when held to the light. The exterior sugar leaf pieces were dry to the touch, but the core still sprang back when pinched.
The aroma inside the jar was a dense and savory blend of freshly turned earth, musk, roasted fat, and wild garlic. The flower was smooth on the burn and large hits came and went without a cough. The savory tone from the scent carried over to the palate with notes of roasted fat, pine forest, thyme, wild garlic, and buttery mushrooms sticking to my tongue after the exhale.
Hashburger induced a heavy buzz both mentally and physically, clearing my train of thought of worries and anxiety and weighing down my arms and legs with a strong pressure. Eventually, the buzziness of the pressure wore off, leaving a wave of pain relief and some heaviness behind for the next hour. Hashburger could really slow down a day’s progress if smoked too early. The clean slate headspace stopped any work from getting done. This was a delicious, heavy hitting first experience from Belushi’s Farm, and I look forward to the rest of the product lineup.
