Review: Haze x White 91 Cake Icing by Dabstract
I love classics. Old school strains that are still around have stood the test of time for a reason. That’s what excited me when I spotted the latest Dabstract drop, a cross of familiar favorites, Haze and White 91. I picked up a Dabstract Haze x White 91 Cake Icing Live Resin to review.
Haze x White 91 is a sativa-leaning hybrid cross. This batch of live resin tested at 0.19% CBDa, 1.96% THC, 81.6% THCa, and 87.4% total cannabinoids. Terpenes were 5.87% of the total weight with myrcene, limonene, and caryophyllene being the heaviest.

A messy mound of bright sunflower-yellow badder carried a reflective sheen across the top and a ring of transparent hay-colored terpene-heavy oil around the base. A room-temperature butter texture made for easy dosing, clinging to my tool in sticky clumps.
The aroma revealed sharp layers of hot diesel, jalapeño, chemical cleaner, lemon peel, pineapple, and peach, supported by notes of lavender, rose, and wet slate. On the palate, the hot diesel, sweet fruit tones of pineapple and peach and hints of spicy peppers came through clearly. The diesel flavor was heavy, clinging to the tongue for several minutes after a sesh.
Haze x White 91 hit quickly with a boost of energy and motivation paired with a wave of creative but unfocused thought. Physically, an initial wave of muscle relaxation morphed into an allover floating sensation, highlighted by euphoric tingles at the peak. The energy boost was long lasting, even late at night, but the lack of focus made Haze x White 91 better suited for play than work. Overall, the classic genetics came through with a complex flavor profile and energetic buzz.
