Review: Hella Jelly Live Full Spectrum Cart by Rythm
By Tammi Tokes
I decided 2023 was going to be the year I try writing strain reviews. Since I have been eyeing a new Live Vape Cartridge for weeks now, after work, I purchased Rythm’s Hella Jelly Live Full Spectrum Vape Cartridge by Green Thumb Industries from Windy City Cannabis in Posen.
Hella Jelly is a sativa-dominant cross of Verry Cherry and Notorious THC (the cross names alone made me want this) bred by Humboldt, and the Full Spectrum CO2 oil reached 73.58%. Terpene profile for this strain included α-pinene at 0.1195%, β-caryophyllene at 4.7612%, β-myrcene at 2.3561%, β-pinene: 0.1628%, limonene at 1.5383%, and linalool at 0.4201%. The Rythm cartridges typically have the 30% headspace (that air bubble thingy) with their cartridges and this one is no exception.

On the first draw of my pen, I tasted lemon candy sweetness, along with just the right amount of skunk. On the exhale, I tasted and smelled cherry sweet tart candy without the tart, which kept me coming back for more.
The effects were immediate, starting in the head. Because of the myrcene, limonene, and linalool, this combination of terpenes made me relaxed but focused without any anxiety, even when smoked all day/night with the added bonus of still being able to get to sleep as well. I also felt a little spacey, and if I wanted to, I could let the relaxation take over and sink in the couch.
Hella Jelly reminds me of another Rythm strain here in Illinois, Love Affair, because of the same euphoric feeling, and it happens to be one of my favorite strains by GTI. I will now be on the lookout for Rythm flower and concentrate versions because who doesn’t like Sweet Tarts? For more Illinois News Joint reviews, visit here.
