It’s the most wonderful time of the year and cannabis brands are celebrating. Curaleaf imprint Select recently released a pair of holiday-themed Briq vapes. I recently stopped at Curaleaf Morris and picked up a Select Holiday Cookies Briq Vape to review.

The Select Holiday Cookies Briq Vape is a 2g distillate vape infused with botanical terpenes. This vape tested at 0.192% CBD, 87.042% THC, and 91.881% total cannabinoids.

Two and a half inches long and an inch wide, the Briq vape fit comfortably in the palm of my hand. There was a white plastic mouthpiece at the top, while the body had a fun, red and green “Christmas sweater” pattern with the Select logo at the center. There was a large tank visibility window on one side that lit up when the vape was hit, along with a USB-C charging port at the bottom. A simple hit-to-activate mechanism and no buttons made the vape super simple to use.

The flavor was simple and straightforward, delivering a singular sweet sugar tone that was more buttercream icing than sweet dough. Despite the strong hit of sweetness, there was no staying power, making for a pleasantly crisp and clean finish.

The physical shift hit first as a steady pressure pushing out from behind my eyes and forehead. My mood was buoyant as my anxieties melted away, and my outlook turned optimistic. Eventually, the physical buzz moved down into my torso, relaxing some chronic pain points on the way. The headchange lasted for a solid half hour but had an abrupt “return to Earth,” and I found myself redosing several times during the day.
