Review: Hot Mint Sundae Live Badder by Bedford Grow
“You’re going to love this one” is not words I often hear when it comes to Illinois cannabis concentrates. While I enjoy most of the dabs I try here in my home state, truly finding something I LOVE has been few and far between. I was excited because I was promised “love” when I picked up from Springfield Maribis the Hot Mint Sundae Live Badder from Bedford Grow.
Hot Mint Sundae is an indica leaning hybrid cross of Fatso Biscotti Sundae and London Pound Mints. This batch of badder tested at 75.81% THC, 4.91% CBGA, and 83.87% total cannabinoids. The total terpenes tested at 16.7% of the total weight with limonene, b-myrcene, and b-caryophyllene being the most prevalent.

This badder came as a bright sunflower yellow dollop of badder with a wet terpene sheen across the top. The consistency on the scoop was thicker than a wet cake badder and closer to a dense frosting.
The aroma from the jar was very thick. I detected sweet and sour citrus peel, mint, cloves, chocolate, heavy cream, and pine. The aroma lent itself to continued exploration, and I could have spent hours with the scent alone.

The flavors carried well into the vaporization with the citrus, mint, chocolate, cream, and pine all making an appearance on the tongue. Just like the aroma, the flavor on this one was heavy.
I do not usually encounter the phenomenon known as “dab sweats.” This experience was a different story. Hot Mint Sundae hit me hard immediately, and the strong off the line effects were an indicator of more good things to come.

After the initial heat wave subsided the body effects came on first with a tingle in my chest and legs and a tight, full-blown headband feeling at my crown. Living up to its indica label, Hot Mint Sundae put my head in a daze and left me giggling and relaxed enough to be locked into the couch for the night.
This one was a perfect fit for me. Heavy flavors and heavy effects have got me looking for more of this badder and the Hot Mint Sundae flower this one came from. For more Illinois News Joint reviews, click here.
